Jessica Janos

Jessica Janos is a multi-award winning director, writer and producer.

She has directed six feature films: MILE 666 (2023), DEADLY CHEERS (2022), DECORATED FOR DEATH (2021), STOLEN IN PLAIN SIGHT (2020) starring Gracie Gillam, SUBURBAN SWINGERS CLUB (2019) starring Dana Davis, and SEDUCED (2016) starring Elisabeth Rohm for Lifetime.

She is producing and directing the YouTube series MEDICINE DECONSTRUCTED with Dr. Jamie Rutland and she directed the first episode of season 2 of PERFECT CHAOS.

Previous projects include PRETTYFACE, a coming-of-age thriller, starring Karsen Liotta, Annalise Basso and Patrick Schwarzenegger with academy award winning producer Fred Roos, MARK TWAIN for Val Kilmer, and FROM THE LOTUS for Prince. BUTTER, a body-horror short, and multi-award winning short ACID WAVES.

Janos began as a painter, where she was accepted into CalArts School of Fine Arts at the age of 16. She later went on to earn her BA in Film from the University of New South Wales in Sydney and her MFA in Directing at the AFI Conservatory.
